Their specialty is B2B sales and delivery of connectors, cables, indoor and outdoor lighting, and security products.
CEA, or the Comptoir Electrique Aquitain, is above all based on a close relationship with its customers. Their Prestashop e-commerce website provides all the products they need to make it easier for them to place orders, via a secure connection.
It is thus possible to request the purchase of wholesale products, the creation and negotiation of quotes, the management of personalized shopping lists, and all this in the cutsomer’s company context. Indeed, employees of the same company can interact: a commercial or preparator will select the products he needs for his work, and the buyer will validate the purchase.

These advanced functionalities have been implemented thanks to modules. The most important of which being role and construction sites management modules, developed by our Prestashop experts. In addition to the development of modules, a tailor-made synchronization system with CEA’s ERP has been set up. Products are automatically created, updated or deactivated based on the information returned by the ERP. As for Prestashop, it communicates the details of the orders and the evolution of their status, as well as the customer accounts created and their addresses.
The complexity of these aspects made this project very interesting, and it is with pleasure that the Gopadma Technologies teams supported CEA in the launch of this B2B platform. On the design side, a pre-developed template was used, but adapted in terms of design to match with the company’s image.
