Developed with Laravel, this Paris Infraweek project consists of an online registration platform for their annual events. Each year, a full week of roundtable discussions is organized, in addition to the inaugural luncheon. To register and manage participation in each sub-event, Paris Infraweek needed a flexible and professional tool.
This platform is therefore much more than a simple website. It allows participants to register online for events created by the Infraweek teams, with approval or rejection by an administrator. This approach ensures that only authorized participants can access the events, thus ensuring a secure and professional environment.
Infraweek administrators benefit from advanced features for optimal platform management. These features include the import and export of event participants, as well as the synchronization of these participants with contact lists on their Brevo account. We implemented this with the Brevo API, during automatic actions on the Laravel platform, such as the approval or rejection of event participation requests. This streamlines and optimizes communication between Infraweek members and their participants. In addition, the dashboard created provides a real-time overview of registrations so that Infraweek teams have ideal visibility over their events.
This tool saves our client considerable time, allowing them to focus on what matters most: managing the events themselves.
We chose Laravel for this project because it was primarily a back-office platform, and we needed to allow for future upgrades. Laravel provided this flexibility, in addition to precisely meeting our client’s needs.
