Easy Motor is a marketplace specialized in the engine sector, particularly focused on B2B connections between industry professionals.
The platform allows companies to post, search, exchange, buy, and sell engines, spare parts, and equipment in a simple and centralized way. Thanks to its unique positioning, Easy Motor promotes trade between professionals while contributing to the development and recognition of the used and reconditioned engine market.
The Easy Motor website had already existed for several years and was originally built on Drupal. Over time, this solution proved difficult to maintain, less efficient, and, above all, not flexible enough for a rapidly growing B2B marketplace project.
The team was also facing recurring security issues (notably spam) and wanted to upgrade the platform to add new features tailored to its professional users.
In this context, in 2024, Easy Motor turned to Gopadma Technologies to completely modernize its website, opting for a solution that would be high-performing, secure, and scalable.
After a thorough analysis and technical audit, our team recommended a full redesign of the marketplace using PrestaShop, a well-known e-commerce platform recognized for its reliability and rich feature set.
To meet Easy Motor’s specific needs, we integrated and customized Webkul’s Advanced Marketplace module, which we then adapted to the client’s B2B business model.

One of the major challenges of the project was the complete migration of data from the old Drupal website to the new PrestaShop platform. This operation involved several seller accounts, listings, and commercial information. We implemented a custom migration process to ensure full data preservation and seamless service continuity for existing users.
Thanks to careful preparation and several testing phases, this migration was successfully completed — with no data loss or website downtime. The Webkul Advanced Marketplace module provides a solid foundation for building a marketplace on PrestaShop.
